I have enjoyed countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
