I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
