I have wagered on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
