I have wagered on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
